Port International and Hof Röhrkasten present their asparagus, strawberry, and blueberry production

The company Port International and Hof Röhrkasten farm present a video which showcases their successful asparagus, strawberry, and blueberry production. The two companies have been working closely together for many years and are suppliers of high-quality fresh fruit and vegetables in Germany.

Hof Röhrkasten is part of Port International’s Exclusive Partner Farming programme and produces strawberries, blueberries, and asparagus on more than 400 hectares of cultivated land. Thanks to the cooperation with Port International, the farm can market its high-quality produce transregionally and ensure sustainable and efficient production of fresh fruit and vegetable products.

“We are proud of the cooperation and the opportunity to offer our customers first-class products,” says André Lüling, Managing Director of Port International European Sourcing GmbH.

Hof Röhrkasten was founded in 1860 and, in recent years, has developed into an attractive producer for the food retail trade. The resource-conserving production of strawberries, blueberries and asparagus takes place from May to October on contiguous fields with excellent soil quality. The central location in Germany and optimal just-in-time production ensure efficient and fast delivery to customers.

“We are very pleased that we have a reliable and long-standing partner in Port International who markets our production exclusively to the international food retail trade. Together we can ensure that our customers always receive fresh fruit and vegetables of the highest quality,” says Henning Röhrkasten, Managing Director of Hof Röhrkasten.

This presentation of the asparagus, strawberry, and blueberry production impressively demonstrates that a close cooperation between producers and marketers can lead to successful results. Both companies are convinced that this marketing strategy will set the trend for the future.
