Our Fairnando bananas come to us from sunny South America and the Caribbean.
As pioneers in this field, we have spent more than 20 years promoting socially viable, environmentally friendly banana production, workers’ rights and greater fairness in trade. The certified farm cooperatives and plantations are paid stable prices for their Fairtrade bananas. The goal is to improve their living and working conditions. What’s more, a Fairtrade premium is paid for all products. The farmers form cooperatives and mostly decide for themselves how to use this premium, e.g. to build drinking water fountains, to build or repair roads and schools, for healthcare or for further training.
Our Fairnando bananas are supplied in standard and organic quality.
