BE CLIMATE, the first brand for climate-neutral fruit and vegetables, was launched on the market in 2019. This enables customers and consumers to make a simple, transparent contribution to climate protection.
What makes our BE CLIMATE products climate-neutral? We start by calculating all the CO2 emissions generated by fruit and vegetables from their point of origin to the point of sale. These include emissions from cultivation, packing and logistics processes. We then reduce our CO2 emissions wherever possible and offset unavoidable CO2 emissions in two certified climate protection projects.
For our climate-neutral products, transparency is paramount. The QR code on our BE CLIMATE products takes consumers straight to our brand website www.beclimate.com, where they can easily track their contribution to climate protection.
