Junior Buyer / Junior Purchasing Agent (m/f/d)

YOU WILL

• assist in creating and updating the short-term purchasing plan for fresh fruits and vegetables
• negotiate purchase prices, volumes and delivery times with suppliers
• coordinate truck loadings and forward information to logistics
• Enter and update purchase orders into our inventory management system
• Check the labeling requirements and decide on necessary quality correction measures
• Negotiate claims (underdeliveries, client rejections/claims, quality issues) with suppliers
• Participate in the preparation of settlements of supplier accounts for each delivery

YOU PROVIDE

• a completed commercial apprenticeship, study of economics or
• at least 2 years of experience on purchasing, sales or another position in the fruit industry
• fluency in Spanish as well as in English or German
• good numerical understanding, high solution orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
